As I was out for Enrichment last night, Warren got the boys ready for their Father and Sons campout. They all went out to buy supplies for the trip together. Here is what they bought...
3 six packs of pop, Gatorade, two 10 packs of candy bars, a king sized bag of gummy worms, a big bag of Twizzlers, two cans of Pringles, 1 package of Oreos, one "super cool" new flashlight for Warren, and 3 of those little lazer flashlights (yes, the ones that can make one blind).
Please keep in mind that we are relatively healthy eaters. We don't usually even keep pop in the house.
I asked Warren, "What are you going to do when they get hungry?" Warren replied, "Eat Pringles and Oreos!" He also said, "Monica, I don't really care. Tonight I was a rockstar dad. The boys kept telling me over and over how much they love me!"
You just can't argue with that!
Disclaimer...If you are in my ward, and your son or husband comes home blind tomorrow, it's probably from one of our lazers. Warren's cel. phone # is 480-735-9992.
Just ask for the rockstar!

That was such a funny post! Warren is a great dad and your kids will love all the junk food.
I love you. I love Warren. Awesome! Perfect! That's why moms don't go to father and sons! :) We'd make rules or something crazy like that!
I can hear my brother say just that...I don't really care with that little cheesy grin he has...hahaha I miss you guys you need to come up or better yet we need to come down...
I love it! Brian does those types of things and yet I think what the heck. But I love it because they are bonding and there being rockstars and having the time of their lives! Warren is an awesome dad and he is making memories with those boys that they'll never forget and honestly, what more could you ask for!
Rolling at this post! What the? He is going to realize his mistake when they are all running around on a sugar high. You should buy some "rockstar" drinks and pack them up for him too. Nothing like a little caffeine to go with all that sugar! LOL!
Sounds too familiar, last year when my rockstar and 2 little groupies did their shopping they came home with similar "food" and then Kaden came home from the campout with reports of being sick the whole time. Just the other day he said, "I had no fun at fathers and sons last year because I ate so much sugar that I barfed the whole time." Lesson learned! I am sure your guys will have a great time and if they get a sugar high illness it will still be a great memory!
That's awesome! Ya I think my kids got 10 days worth of junk to eat in one night!
