Sweet Promptings of the Spirit

I have learned alot about myself over the last couple of years. One of the biggest lessons is that i'm not really very good at change. For some reason, I always trick myself into thinking that I can control when, where, how long, and how change will happen in my life. I am pretty sure that makes me prideful, or not very humble, or both.
This past year has been a rollercoaster of change for our family; packed full of spiritual highs and lows. It has been awesome! I have learned so much about myself and my relationship with my Savior...too much to express in words at this time. I have never loved or served people so much in my life. It has been such a blessing. And, with another week of extreme change for many that I know and love, I again remember one of the only constants that we can always count on...and I listen to Him whisper his sweet promptings, guiding our family along.

I love the your posts. They always bring in such a sweet spirit and perspective on things. I too seem to have issues with control sometimes. However, I am getting better with it. This last year as Blake started high school it became very evident to me that I could not control everything and that more than anything I just had to do a lot of praying and listening to those promptings along with having faith. I sure love you and appreciate you. You are such a dear friend to me. I'm so glad to get to be a part of your blogging world.

Love Ya,
JoLynn

I kind of thought that picture of Dand and your title about promptings meant you were going to announce a pregnancy! ;)
