Down and Derby

The Pinewood Derby is not taken lightly in a home with four boys. This year was Cody's last, and Preston's first. When it all came down to it, Preston won 2nd place in his Wolf den, and Cody won 1st place in his Webelos den. I can't remember the overall standings.
They were happy though, and love working with their dad on these cars!
The boys always love it when Grandpa Wilson and Uncle Blake come to their events to show support. Thanks guys! The boys know that you are there!!!

I'm so jealous! I really miss the Pinewood Derby days. In fact we have even gone to our ward's Pinewood Derby just to see it a few times. I know were crazy but we really got into that and sure miss those fun cub scout events. Sometimes in the thick of it all you think I will be glad to be done with Pack Meetings but honestly, enjoy them. You'll miss them.

We love the Pinewood Derby too and don't even have any boys in it! Cherish this time with them and even though getting 2 or 3 cars done is stressful, the memories are priceless!
