Facebook Dropout
Today I decided to dropout of Facebook. If you haven't yet succombed to the madness, you won't know what I am talking about. It all just got to be too much for me. 200 "friends" on one page is enough to give anyone A.D.H.D. At first it was fun, exciting even. Then I started feeling obligated to talk to people all of the time...to stay connected all of the time. To much for this mother of four! My friend JoLynn said, "If I haven't spoken to you in 20 years, then I don't know why I need to now!" She has a point. So, for now, I will keep on blogging. I feel more comfortable here.

Well I am glad I finally heard something that made me feel like I am not so crazy. We already had this conversation, but I have to say "kudos" to you, because you still took a stand even though I am sure it is fun to get in touch with the "glory days", now is now. We could spend all day on the internet but we do have children to attend to.
Good for you woman!! Most of us don't need to be living the glory days of highschool again. I definetly dont need to be talking to anyone I knew in highschool.
YES!!!! Good for you! Man Monica, your the best! I have always thought so highly of you and it's a huge sigh of relief to know that some people and some things don't change! Thanks for being who you are and being proud of you are!
Oh and I don't even know your friends here-Amanda and Amber but I couldn't agree with them more! We lived the those days once and they were good but we don't have to relive them again!
Besides I have a son that will be in high school next year and I think I will let him live and enjoy his own high school days without me reliving my own too:) Thanks for your friendship and example!
Love ya, JoLynn
Go Monica! I have always been an anti-facebooker. Who needs to re-live the past anyways? Too much drama for me.
I know what you mean. There are too many freaks out there. And your friend is right, if I haven't spoken to you, maybe there's a reason. (Not you Mon, of course. :))
I'm so glad you have a blog though. I love looking in on you and your family.
BTW, any housetraining tips for our new puppy?
You go girl!
