A Little Bit of Sand
As Tyler, Dane, and I drove home from preschool today I noticed an enormous pile of sand in the Mountain View park. I mean it must have been 4 and 1/2 feet tall and 5 feet wide. Fresh, new sand for the park that hadn't been spread around yet. Of course, I promplty stopped the car, got out, and told Tyler to climb to the very top. I mean any normal person doesn't just drive by a newly dumped pile of sand right? The three other mothers in the park all stopped and stared at me. It wasn't until then that I realized that the 5 boys already there were not climbing on the sand, or even playing near it. One mom chuckled, "We've been trying to keep our boys off of it for the last 1/2 hour. I'm sure the Association doesn't want them on it." I told Tyler to slide down on his bum and climb up again. Within 10 minutes all of the boys were sliding down and having such a fantastic time. Did we go home a little bit dirty? Yes, but it was worth it!!!

So you're the one breaking all of the rules!! :) Next time I'm joining you(make it good)!
That is so AWESOME!!! I probably would be the one off to the side trying to keep my kids off of it. Why you ask, hmmmm I don't know. I guess just because I would think they didn't want them in it-I don't know. Anyway, I wish I had a lot more of you in me and just thought who cares, it's sand for heaven sakes, have fun and play in it. Good for you! Your an awesome mom.
