Kid of Character

Preston was FINALLY nominated for "The Kid of Character" in his class during the month of March. He received a certificate of "Citizenship". I say "FINALLY" because he has been campaigning for this award the entire year (Preston likes to win). When he asked Mrs. Cruz when it would be his turn to win "Kid of Character" she said, "Preston, you have to HAVE character, not BE a character to earn that award!" He is very social and loves people (I don't know where he got this trait???). Preston has worked very hard to do well in school as well as be kind to others around him for the last few months. We are very proud of him. As a mother, I truly enjoy his easygoing personality and his desire to always do his best. By the way, Preston's favorite part of all of this is the water bottle.
