Tired

I came across this picture on the internet today, and laughed at myself when I thought, "I WISH that I was only doing what she is doing." Here is a glimpse of how my day went yesterday not even adding in the cooking and cleaning...

Drop kids at school, drop Tyler at playdate, feed and walk dogs, feed fish, work on alligator diaramma with Cody, complete posterboard presentation about Tyler for Preschool, organize "Estimation Bag" for Tyler, document everywhere Tommy the turtle went with us for the last week for Tyler, review spelling words, read with kids, piano practice, Cub Scouts, prepare backpacks for school tomorrow, run to Walgreens for pictures, run to bank, and so on, and so on. I sometimes feel jealous of the octopus with so many more arms than me.

What a blessing it is to serve my boys each day (including Warren). I have a pending thought in the back of my brain that I will only have my children here with me for such a short time. I used to have Cody for 18 years, and now there are only 10 left to teach him everything he need to go out into the world. This motivates me to always go full force. I love it, and wouldn't change it for the world, but man, I'm tired!

The good news is that Lost was on last night. What a way to end the perfect day! I'm not a big T.V. watcher, but what a great show. The writers are brilliant. It is a story that jiggles one's mind a bit. Warren's hooked now too.

I'm always tired, too. I wonder if we'll ever wonder what to do with our time?

It's good to have people to take care of though, isn't it?

I hear ya. But after reading your list I must say you do a ton more than me. Good thing you are type A and so organized!

I LOVE LOST! I've watched since day one and haven't missed a one. Even bought all of the seasons. LOVE IT!

So great to catch up with you Monica! Thanks so much for the planting calendar, that is so helpful. I have no idea what I am doing. Your boys are darling, and I just want to kiss your baby's fat cheeks!
