Are you wondering who this guy is? This is Gary Harper, the "3 On Your Side" guy from News Channel 3. He will be doing a story on us tonight at 5p.m. Back in November we signed up for a second season of NFL flag football through a league that has been in Gilbert for 10 years called Top Flight Football. The owner, Tom Miller, collected $85-$125 dollars from almost 500 families for the spring 2009 season. Just before the season was to start in February, he emailed us and told us that he wouldn't be holding the season and that we would be refunded in full. To bad he forgot to refund anyone.After numerous attempts at contacting him, I did what any good football mom would do, I emailed "3 On Your Side". I didn't think they would really call me back, but they did. They came to our house and did a story on us that will air tonight at 5p.m. I believe that Tom Miller took all of these registrations knowing full well, that he wouldn't be holding a season. He now says he is losing his house, etc., etc., but has over $24,000 in cash that all of these families paid him. I feel bad for him on one hand. On the other hand, you can't just go around taking money from people. It has all been quite scandalous. I am a little bit uncomfortable about being on T.V., but I just couldn't go down without a fight. Can you blame me?
By the way, thank you Coast to Coast Football for taking many of these families into your league at a discount!

Oh my heck! We used to do "Top Flight Football" and this Tom Miller guy really rubbed Brian and I the wrong way a couple of seasons ago and so our boys didn't play through "Top Flight" any more after that. Anyway, that is very interesting! I'm sorry that you guys had to loose money that is just so not right! I'm so glad you called "3 On Your Side" and that they did a story on this. I will for sure watch it tonight. Thanks for the info!
I was working out at the gym and saw you guys on the news preview for this evening. Wow! We were in that league last year and quit because it was run so horribly. Now I know why. Good for you for standing up for what is right! Way to go! btw, are you doing pat's run? How is getting in shape post baby going?

I gave Tom Miller $200.00 for my son to play football. I have been unsucessful in getting my money back. I would really appreciate any info to help me recover the money that he stole from me.
