Rest

This morning I got up, read my scriptures, and said my prayers. "What will You have me do today?", I asked. "Rest". Rest? I don't have time to rest. It's not Saturday or Sunday. Too much to do. My list is long. I listened again, "Rest". Resting is difficult for me, but much needed. And so, I delivered a prescription to the school nurse, sent Tyler off to playgroup, and now I will rest.

I'll let you know if it all works out O.K.

I love how the Lord even tells us to rest. What's that scripture - do not run faster than you have strength? Enjoy your weekend of rest!

I love that you are asking the Lord what you shall do each day. I am really going to work on that. SO often I just make my to do list and so often I just say my prayers and ask for His help with the things that I need to do that day but I seldom ask what is it that He'd like me to do that day. I am so proud of you for doing this and I appreciate your example.

I hope your day was super and I'm sure it was because you were doing what it was that you were supposed to be doing.

Thanks Again,
JoLynn

Isn't it nice to know that the Lord knows what you need even when you don't know yourself? Thanks for your example of obedience and faith. I hope it was a great day of rest!
