For the first time ever we were invited to a pumpkin carving party the day before Halloween. Sometimes the best times happen unexpectedly. Though weary from attending classroom parties all day, our hostess pulled this off. Thank you Welkers! The company and the food were great. The dads loved helping the kids carve.
In fact, I think they had more fun carving than the kids did.

I'm not sure, but I think Warren is eating raw pumpkin in this picture. When he does things like this, we usually say, "He's from a very small town in Wyoming."

Michelle talked us into making caramel from scratch instead of the "easy way". We complained the entire time it was bubbbling on the stove, but it was SO, SO good. I can't believe how good it was. I think it is this mom's favorite Halloween memory for this year.
I hope that this becomes a tradition every year.

Such a fun time for all of us.
Dane figured out that candy is good.

I looked over and these two were having a full on conversation about this apple. The thing is that neither of them speak very well. It was a very long, serious conversation. So cute!

It always takes me forever to download those. I have to wait for Warren to get home.
It looks like lots of fun! I'd love one of those carmel apples about now!
Looks like a blast. I love "real" caramel. And it is a really small town in Wyoming. REALLY SMALL!
