It's Been Busy!

Warren got to be a wiseman in the ward Christmas party nativity. Doesn't he look wise? We had a really great night.

We saw Santa!

Dr. Tani took Cody's cast off woot, woot! Cody thought he was tough having his arm sawed. It was awesome! Time to get ready for basketball season!

Cody performed "Deck the Halls" and "The Sleigh" at his piano recital. I am so proud of this kid for sticking with it. I was the only one who got to hear him this year. Our family was trying to be in two places at one time. Cody and I literally walked in, he played his songs, and we walked out. I can't wait for Cody to teach me to play what he has learned. Piano is one of the things I plan on learning before I die. Preston is excited to start lessons when he turns 8.

I love love love piano recitals! I love love love to hear my Brilynn practice. I can see myself a little old lady someday just begging her to play the piano for me. I took lessons for a couple of years and quit, I hated it. As an adult I am so mad at myself for quitting. How dumb was that?! So I told Brilynn that when she could play the songs from the hymn book she could quit taking lessons if she wanted to. She has just started playing the hymns from the simplified hymn book version. She still has a ways to go but I'm so proud of her!

Tell your boys to keep on going with it!

We would have gone to Cody's recital even if we had to walk in and walk out with you! ha.
