The Virtue of Lemons

Our lemon tree is dripping with fruit this year. We love it! Homemade lemonade on demand.

Interestingly enough, this morning as I ran my morning errands, I heard an intriguing story about charity, virtue, peacefulness and my beautiful yellow jewels. It seems that an important, high dollar study was done drawing conclusions that clean smells (especially lemon) cause people to want to be more kind, give more, and serve those around them. Can you believe it?? All these years of trying to teach my children the pros of kindness, and all I needed was a little air freshener?

Now, if you'll excuse me, I am on my way to douse my home in lemon juice...

I'm so jealous you have a lemon tree. I love lemon anything.
