What I Am Reading Now...

Here is the book that I am reading now. I read alot and won't ever suggest a book unless it is really good. The Everyhing Parent's Guide To Raising Siblings, by Linda Sonna, Ph.D., is just that. It talks about building bonds between siblings, meaning more love and less fighting at home. My favorite part, so far, is the chapter about birth order. I am greatly interested in the nature vs. nurture aspect and birth order. It is my opinion that we (as parents) really guide our children's personalities based on birth order...a mistake. Sonna also cites alot from a book called The Birth Order Book. I don't remember the author to this one, but it is EXCELLENT. I read it last year and want to buy it. I'm hoping that if I read enough of these books, I won't screw up my kids too bad! Happy reading!

I will have to try that. I will be joining you as a mother of 4 boys so this will be interesting. Also, tell Warren that Ryan was just made the Cub Master and I am the Asst. Cub Master. What a hoot huh? I am going to be bugging you guys for ideas and info.

Ok, so I looked these up on our county library sight and the only books by her are on potty training. Is this one new? Also on the birth order book -- was it "the birth order book: why you are the way you are" by Kevin Leman?

Also have you read parenting with love and logic? (I'm sure you have, my all time favorite.)
