We have been very busy at our house getting a garden ready for the spring. I am also excited as all of our fruit trees (pink grapefruit, orange, lemon, and pomegranate) produced alot this year, and are already growing new little blossoms. We planted tomatos, sweet peas, carrots, sweet peppers, radishes, summer squash, lettuce, spinach, and cantalope. I also planted some herbs in pots. We already have some little sprouts. I hope it works! What a great learning experience this was for our children. They LOVED helping with this project. Now I just need to figure our where to buy seeds for Oreos and M&M's???
P.S. If you are even the slightest bit interested in starting your own garden look up http://www.agardeninthedesert.com/. This lady has awesome information on starting your garden, in AZ, in even the smallest of places. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can do this.

thanks for that website... i keep thinking about starting again, but we totally suck... we'll see! good luck!
Thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out! May the Arizona sun not beat down too hard on your garden!
(That's an Arizona Gardener's proverb I just made up!)
I've always wanted to start a garden but I have never done it because I'm not sure if the garden would make it with Mollie and Minnie (our little dogs). I'm sure they'd be real helpful with a garden! Maybe I will have to figure out something!
Thanks for the info.

I am so jealous that you can plant already. It will be a while before we can. But I LOVE to garden. It's a blizzard currently in SLC.
