Yesterday was a very scary day for us. Baby Dane was sitting in his Little Tykes swing on the swingset and the kids were playing football in the backyard. Monica went into the kitchen to put a chicken in the oven. The swing is old and one of the straps somehow broke. Baby Dane somehow wiggled his way out and fell 4-41/2 feet to the ground. When Monica picked him up Dane was white, his eyes were rolling back, and he would not respond very much. I got home and called 911. Because the fireman were very worried about head and spine trauma, they lifelighted him to the Maricopa County Hospital because they have a special trauma unit there. They don't know if he had a little seisure or if it is a little consussion. After lots of tests and scans, they have determined that Baby Dane is probably going to be just fine. Hopefully, he is back to himself today.
It was very scary for us. We appreciate all of you who stepped in and mobilized so quickly. That was amazing. What a blessing it is to live in a place with so much support. Thank you mom and dad for taking care of everything. Thank you Buffie for coming to be with Monica when the fireman were here. Thank you Brandon for coming so quickly to help me a give blessing. Thank you all who were so concerned about our other kids. Thank you Bishop and Scott for driving to a pretty scary part of town to help me give a blessing. Thank you for the calls and emails and prayers. You will never know how much love and support we have felt during an extremely scary event. We have been up much of the night, but wanted to let everyone know what happened. Thanks again.
Warren

I'm so glad he is doing ok. It's a blessing you have so many great people in your life to help out. Dane will be in my prayers and thoughts on a speedy recovery.
I don't want to call you today because I hope you are all getting some much needed rest. I will be in touch tomorrow to see what you need and hopefully help. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we hope he comes home soon.
Monica,
Sherene and I were about 10 minutes behind the bishop when he called and said there was no need for us to come. Please lets us know what we can do. We love you and your family!

I'm sorry that your family had to go through all of this. I'm glad that Dane is going to be fine. I know what you mean about County being in a scary part of town. They airlifted Rheese there when he was 11 days old and it was one of the worst places to go to. I know they are good, but there is so much more to it than that.
Our prayers will be with your family.
We are so happy to hear that Dane is okay. I hope you guys are recovering okay too. What a scary experience. We will continue to keep your family in our prayers.
I'm glad to hear that Dane is going to be okay. It's terrifying to watch your children go through things like this. You are all in our prayers. What a blessing families are, traditional and ward families.
Oh my gosh! Monica and Warren I am so sorry! I will definitely be praying for your sweet little guy and your entire family!
I am soooo glad to hear he is okay.....that was scary!
