Superstition Farm
Yesterday we went with Tyler's preschool to Superstition Farm (Off of Hawes and Elliot) on a field trip. It is a working farm and dairy of 1000 cows. They sell most of their milk to Shamrock. Maybe that is why milk is so cheap here?? I like this farm because not only is it very clean, but the owner is interested in letting the children interact with and touch the animals. Many of the animals are rescued, so they are very kind to the kids. Tyler had a blast, but when it was all said and done he thought eating a sack lunch was the best part of the morning. It makes him feel big like his brothers.

looks like fun. Your baby is adorable! What a mom! I normally beg off on any field trips when i have a baby. You're a trooper!
What a fun field trip! I have been on a few farm field trips in my day. Enjoy them, it all ends way to quickly!

We are going with Ethan's class at the end of the month to the Thanksgiving Point "farm". I grew up around so many farms, I don't see the novelty. But my kids LOVE it. And BTW, I need snack lunch advice. Bella starts 1st grade in the fall and I probably will pack her lunch. What do you make for your kids?
