Filling My Bucket

It's a constant struggle I have...Keeping my own bucket full. You moms know what I'm talking about. Sometimes we get so caught up running around filling everyone elses, that we forget about ours. Warren has become really good and noticing when my waterline is looking a little low. He's learned to recognize it early so that discouragement doesn't creep in. Yesterday he told me that I had an official day off. Thanks boss!

I started my morning off here...

Then, my sis. came and picked me up, and we went to see this...

(It is a very intense movie. Kind of slow unless you have read the book. Awesome theme of good/evil.)

Finally, I was able to do a little shopping without any little people asking me for things.

I came home to a clean house and happy kids who had spent an afternoon at the library with dad. They love that. I love that too, except he lets them check out as many things as they want. Don't go to the Perry Library for a couple of weeks, I'm pretty sure we have almost all of the childrens books and movies.

We then bbq'd and watched this as a family...
The best part of it all is that I was able to fill my bucket with no guilt of leaving them all day. Remember, I officially had the day off!

That is great!!! I think those days off are so needed from time to time. I'm glad you got your bucket full! Warren is a good man to be able to see when you need some time for yourself! I'm glad it was a great day!

Awesome, thank goodness for good husbands! Adam is good at that too. He'll come home and say, "I'll do dinner tonight," which of course the kids love because that means pancakes, french toast, spaghetti or home made pizza. Still, it's nice to know my kids will eat if something ever happens to me.
