Snips and Snails...
On Tuesday morning we woke up to 78 degrees and rain. I went on a long run and then packed up my monkeys to go and see the monkeys. We are Phoenix Zoo people. My kids love to explore, and don't ever seem to get enough of that place. Ironically, their favorite stop lately has been the compost pile near the petting zoo. They spent an hour digging up earthworms before I had to drag them out of there. Preston is famous for trying to get one of those creatures home with him every time. I have now learned to do a full-body patdown prior to departure.

That was a great day to head off to the zoo and a great day to go for a long run too. I enjoyed that day too. I was sure glad to have off work that day and get to enjoy it!
