Preston Warren Coates

One fabulous day in September of, 2002, I went into the hospital because I was feeling a little uncomfortable. I was suprised to find out that I was dialated almost to a 5 and they said, "Get ready, you are going to have a baby today!!"

I have a theory that you can tell a baby's personality by the way he moves in your belly.

So true to character, the entire time I was pregnant with him, Preston barely moved. This scared me more than once. To this day, Preston proves to be our most laid back child. He took two 3-4 hour naps a day when he was a baby and slept all night by the second week. My Preston is easy going and just lets life roll on by. He easily forgives and loves all around him.

Preston loves the scriptures, Family Night, playing with his brothers, reading and school in general, football, basketball, soccer, Primary, and friends. He can't wait to be a Cub Scout next year. Preston also loves to eat spaghetti and rootbeer floates. The girls love to chase him on the playground, but (most days) he doesn't want anything to do with them. He is my dare devil and doesn't seem to be afraid to try anything. Lastly, Preston is very proud of the fact that he is the tallest student in the 1st grade at his school. He finally outgrew the GIRL that was taller than him in kindergarten last year (Which was very hard on his kindergarten ego).

What a joy it has been to have this boy in my life for the last 7 years. We love him SO much.
Birthday bike! It is faster than Cody's...They have raced many times now. This is very important because Cody is always faster at everything.
Preston invited 10 of his closest friends to a flag football birthday party at our park. They also enjoyed pizza, juice, Otterpops, and cake. It turned out really well.
This is supposed to be the "not crazy" picture. Hmmmm...
Warren just loves doing birthday parties for his boys. He taught them all how to play, and had them play a real game.
Cody's buddies came to "help". Don't they look "helpful"? We just love them all!

I think they are "helping" in this picture??
Otterpop break.
